Step-By-Step Video Guide
This video will give you a step-by-step overview of exactly how to finish your beaded plant kit! If you're already familiar with the techniques used for basic beading and wire wrapping, this video will be the perfect guide to help you finish.
This video will show you the steps, but it won't include detailed tutorials. For detailed tutorials, please use the videos below. Each step will have a detailed tutorial attached so that you can fully understand the technique if this is your first time making a beaded plant creation. So if you new to beaded crafting- keep scrolling!
1. Preparing Your Wire
For this step, you will need your green craft wire, Wire cutter or Scissors, and your Round Nose Pliers or 1-Step Looper.
Follow the below video to learn how to cut wire with various tools, and creating a loop so you can start adding beads.
2. Assembling Your Pot Base
Next up is putting together your Clay Pot, Foam Ball, and Moss. For this step you are going to need to use your hot glue gun or craft glue*.
If the moss included isn't the vibe you are going for, you can use dry leaves, aquarium rocks, or even bark! It's an easy way to add even more creativity to your tiny plant.
*If using a craft glue, use the glue instructions for dry times. You wouldn't want your plant to fall apart!
3. Creating Your "Plant" Sections
Now is the fun part- adding beads to your wire sections to create your own unique mini plant.
4. Adding In Your "Plant" Sections
You are almost done with making your own little beaded plant. Hope you are as excited as we are!
Your final step is adding your beaded wire sections to your foam ball. Use firm pressure to push the wire end into your foam ball through the mossy layer. Play around with your layout until you are happy with the look.
To make your plant extra secure, you can also add glue to the wire end and then stick it into the foam ball. Make sure you like where they are first, because they are really hard to get out after the glue dries.
