Beaded Cactus Kit

Create your own unique beaded cactus! Mix and match your beads and branch shapes to make a fun, natural-looking plant.

Step 1: Design Your Cactus Branch

Start with a pre-looped wire and choose your beads.

String a flower-shaped bead and then a teardrop bead onto the wire with the large, rounded side facing toward the flower. Then add the included smaller green beads along the wire to create a cactus-like branch.

Continue adding beads until you’re happy with the length and pattern.

Tip: The end of the wire without the loop will be inserted into the foam ball, so leave this end un-beaded.

Step 2: Create a Second Branch

Want to make your cactus fuller?

Take the non-looped end of another beaded wire and wrap it around the first wire between two beads.

You can repeat this to create additional branches and different cactus shapes.

Tip: Mix and match the placement, length, and bead patterns of your branches. Slight variations will give your cactus a more natural, organic look.

Step 3: Trim and Shape Your Branches

Once your branches are complete, trim away any excess wire.

Leave about ½ inch of un-beaded wire at the end of each branch. This portion will be inserted into the foam ball.

Gently bend and shape your branches until you like the overall look of your cactus.

Step 4: Build Your Cactus

Insert the ends of your beaded branches into the foam ball.

Experiment with the placement and angle of each branch to create your own unique cactus shape. Keep adding branches until your cactus looks full and balanced.

Use the included moss to fill any open spaces and cover the foam ball.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Cactus!

Your one-of-a-kind Beaded Cactus is ready to display!
