Chinese Goddess Mazu, also known as Tianhou or Heavenly Empress, is a revered deity in Chinese culture, particularly among coastal communities. She is believed to be the protector of seafarers and fishermen, ensuring their safe voyages and bountiful catches. Known for her compassion and ability to predict and prevent disasters at sea, she eventually became deified by local people who saw her as a divine intercessor between humans and the heavens. Worship of Mazu involves elaborate rituals, including processions and offerings at temples dedicated to her. The protective and healing nature of this goddess inspired this oceanic colored bead mix.
