Trick or Treat with JJB and Soft Flex 2022 Recap

In case you missed it! Jesse James Beads and Soft Flex kicked off Halloween Season with our second annual Trick or Treat Party. This year we had Sara Oehler, Brittany Chavers, Jem Hawkes, and Danielle Wickes come together to show us how to create fun and fashionable Halloween themed jewelry that could be worn all year long. Day 1 we had Sara Oehler kick off the event with a fun Candy Corn themed necklace using paperclip chain, and the double strand Candy Corn glass bead strand from the JJB Kit paired with complementing Soft Flex Wire from the matching Soft Flex Trick or Treat Kit.

Brittany Chavers also came to teach us on Night One with a beautiful Fairy Silk and Bead Necklace featuring the Whooo's Watching You Mini Bead Mix from the JJB Kit. This Kit was paired with custom dyed Fairy Silk to match the mini mix for a beautiful contrast of textures. Check out these two projects in the recap video below:

Day 2 we kept the spooky fun rolling with Jem Hawkes. Jem shows us how to make several different earring projects as well as the start of a wire-wrapped flower that can be used as a hairpin or clip as well as a focal piece for jewelry. These bewitching pieces are beautiful and Jem's step by step direction make it easy for wire-wrappers of all skill levels can work along and create this beautiful piece.

Danielle Wickes joins us on Day 2 to create her own bewitched jewelry using the Witching out bead strand paired with Soft Flex wire and a beautiful pendant. Check out this step by step tutorial that's perfect for beaders of all levels especially if you have an interest in working with smaller beads and seed beads, this project is a great introduction to learning different ways to incorporate your smaller beads in layered designs:
