Goddess Ma'at Wire-Wrapped Necklace with Jem Hawkes
Today, Jem is working with the Goddess Ma'at Bead Mix, adding in 18g round German-style wire (Medium temper). We will create a necklace that can be attached to your chosen Chain Reaction with the clasps of your choice to create a lovely necklace.
This necklace features an elegant yet beginner-friendly wire-wrapped bar focal accented with those strung beads. This necklace can be created using any of the Goddess Bead Mixes. We've also used a symmetric design that's easy to recreate for beginner jewelry makers and wire-wrappers. We will be using several of the glass faceted beads from our goddess bead mix paired with the Tibetan boho bead that will act as our focal.
If you choose to use lobster claps, you can create an interchangeable component that you can switch out on your chain. This technique is a fun way to swap out your focal pieces for any occasion while still using your favorite chain.
