JJB and Soft Flex annual Galentine's event has come to an end, we enjoyed working with our wonderful team of designers! This year we celebrated by beading around the world with designers from Hawaii to the UK! We designed with Jem Hawkes, Kay Goss, Kristen Fagan, Brittany Chavers, and Christi Friesen.
We opened with designer Jem Hawkes, who showed us how to wire-wrap adorable hearts. There versatile shapes could be used to create focal pieces for necklaces or bracelets, or as a smaller part of a larger focal piece. Next we got to learn from Kay Goss, who showed us more wire-wrapping techniques creating our own bouquet of lovely wire-wrapped flowers using copper wire.
Next we switch over to Kristen who shows us how to create a beautiful necklace using simple wire-wrapped loops to create fun dangles of beads. Brittany Chavers follows that project with a playful purple necklace and earring combo that we will create with Soft Flex wire and pops of Jesse James Beads. Christi concludes our tour of the world with a layered bracelet design as well as showing us some tricks using polymer clay to make statement pendants! The possibilities are endless.
