The Overlook Hotel box from Jesse James Beads is now available on the JJB website! To celebrate, Jem Hawkes is showing us how to make a beautiful drop-style necklace using the velvety black and red beads found in the bead box. For this necklace, we will be using beads from the box as well as the Fabric chain and the metal link chains also found in the box.

We will also be using an 18-gauge round wire for the main segment of the design. Remember to warm your wire slightly between your hands to make the wire smoother to work with. You will also need a round form (this can be a mandrel or you can use some household items to create a round form in your wire) You will need to create a circle larger than your main focal bead.

You can work harden your circle as well if you like with a hammer and working block. Follow Along step by step with Jem Hawkes to learn how to create this beautiful rounded drop pendant.
