Jem Hawkes is showing us how to create a beautiful statement necklace using beads and components from the February 2024 Magical Mystery Bead Box. This month's theme is La Dolce Vita featuring bright and bold Mediterranean flavors. From this box, we will be using the Barcelona Sunset Pendant pair as well as the chain and a few smaller beads from the box.
Along with our beads, we will also be using 18 gauge round wire in a medium temper. We will be using silver here for a high-contrast finish, you could also use gold or copper wire for a more subtle look. We also recommend having your wire cutters, round-nose pliers, and bail-making pliers. We recommend using the Multi-Step Bail-Making Pliers or the Large Bail-Making Pliers from Beadalon for this project.
Follow along with Jem as we learn step by step how to add our beads to our dangling off-the-vine chain. This project is perfect for beginners who want to learn how to utilize the beads and components in the Magical Mystery Bead Box.
