Feather in the Wind Tutorial with Randee Brown

Hey Party People! Ready to get painting? Today we have Randee Brown showing us how to create our own personal touch with a little Patina demo. For this project we will also be created an elegant layered necklace featuring our custom Patina painted piece, seed beads, bead strand featuring Dakota Stones, and more.

Our first step is picking out your beads and Patina inks. In the tutorial below Randee uses a large bronze feather pendant paired with Chalcedony nuggets from the Jesse James Bead Strand Featuring Dakota Stones, matching bead strands, and a splash of Peach Sherbert seed beads.

What You'll Need:

Bead Strands Ft. Dakota Stones (Randee is using Chalcedony Sunset here)
Boho Bead Strands or a Bead Strand with some focals you'd like to incorporate. Randee is using Renaissance Gala, a metal focal for Patina paint, some seed beads.
Toho 11/0 Seed Beads (Pink Sherbert Used here)
Clasp
Soft Flex Medium Wire
22 Gauge Beadalon Wire

Meet JJB Brand Ambassador and Affiliate, Randee Brown

My name is Randee Brown. I am the sole proprietor of Thunderhorse Descendant est. 2018. I am based out of Minneapolis MN where I run my business out of my home with my boyfriend, one very large dog and a new cat. To sum up my beading journey I started beading around the age of six. I focused on beading and jewelry making to help relieve stress from my job as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, it took off from there.  I was drawn to JJB because of there unique style, care, and time they took to create mixes and themes that were one of a kind.  I am so excited we will be taking steps together on the next part of my journey.
