Easy Celestial-Inspired Jewelry Set with Jesse James Beads

Easy Celestial-Inspired Jewelry Set with Jesse James Beads

Ever wonder where to begin when designing jewelry? Jesse James Beads Bead Strands help take away some of the guesswork. Each strand or duo of strands is designed to help make putting together stunning jewelry sets easy!

For this project, I used beads from the Stone Bead Strand Duo in Adventure Through Andromeda. This bead strand features an array of stunning round glass beads paired with sparkling Goldstone and rainbow Tigers Eye stone beads. I started with a pair of simple earrings, mixing that beautiful Rainbow Tigers Eye with the purple and blue round glass beads.

The best part about Jesse James Beads is that there is no wrong way to put bead strands together. Each strand or strand duo features beads that go together perfectly, allowing the designer to play and create within an easy, workable colorway. Strands contain colors, textures, and materials that work well together, perfect for beginners or those jumping back into designing.

Everything I created uses the bead strand. I also added some charms and seed beads for spacers. You will also need some findings, wire, crimp beads, and tools to create with.

Easy Earrings:

  1. Take two 2-inch eyepins, straightening them slightly before adding your beads. Make sure to leave enough room to loop the other side of the eye pin (about 2-4 beads, depending on size.
  2. Use a 1-step looper to create a loop on the other end, careful not to break any glass beads near where you are looping.
  3. Add your ear wires to the top using jump rings.
  4. Optional: add charms to the bottom end. I used charms from the 18K Gold Charm Trio in Space.

Easy Beaded Bracelet:

  1. Grab some bead stringing wire. I'm using a 7-strand wire here.
  2. String your beads in the pattern you like. I started with the moon charm from the 18K Gold Charm Trio in Space as my midpoint and then added beads to each side to create a repeatable pattern.
  3. Once your beads are strung, add a jump ring to one side and crimp to the end of your bracelet.
  4. On the other side, crimp a lobster clasp.
  5. Once both sides are crimped, you have an easy beaded bracelet.

Easy Bar Necklace:

  1. Grab a scrap piece of 18 or 20-gauge wire. You want the scrap to be longer then your desired bar length.
  2. Add your beads in whatever pattern you like. Charms can be added here as well.
  3. Once your beads are on the piece of wire, use your 1-Step Looper or create simple loops on each side.
  4. Attach your chain with Jump Rings.
  5. Cut the other side of the chain to add your clasp.
